Maxis are all over the place; runways, sidewalks, boardwalks, in the office and running errands. That’s great for the girl who is at least 5'7" – but what about the rest of us? The girls who are more likely in the 5'2"ish range. Lacking in the splendor of a long frame needed to make a maxi dress really work? Well - I have put a lot of thought into this one, as I love an easy dress in the summer time, and this summer my go to something will be a little knit dress. Perfect for summer in all of its light weight glory, the little knit dress comes in a variety of shapes, fabrics, and colors. Throw on a quick tee shirt dress cinched in with a skinny belt for the weekends, or take day into night with my personal favorite – the ballerina dress. Whichever you chose be sure to go for a slightly shorter hem line than your normal knit dress; just over tunic length. Pick one up and wear your summer knit dress in real life.
