But what are they really saying? We heard a lot on last nights episode, about the different sacrifices they have made. There was a feeling of lack of gratitude about those sacrifices from both sides. Jon seemed lonely and beat up over everything, while Kate continued to make excuses for her lack of presence in the household. A presence so lacking that even her children have had trouble distinguishing her as any different from the babysitter! A quick "that hurts" and then she was off to making excuses again. As viewers watched the thick tension nearly choke the life out of the sextuplet’s birthday party upon Jon’s arrival, it was clear that the two are no longer in a make-it-work place. It seems as if Kate wants Jon to leave and is insistent on making him crazy until he does. As the episode came to a close a reoccurring theme began to surface: “I am here for my kids". Do they not know that children do not make a marriage work?
